She adores foggy mornings, quiet windowsills, and the soft hum of distant wind chimes. Some say her shadow moves differently than it should, like it’s dancing to music only she can hear. Her coloring is inspired by Laccaria amethystina, also known as the Amethyst Deceiver, a mushroom named for its delicate violet color and its tendency to fade and blend in with the forest floor. Vera wears that name like a whisper. She’s not hiding, you’re just not looking in the right way.
Each Vera is hand-painted with care. Their shape never changes, but the small details do. A glint in the eyes, a shift in tone, the way the shadow rests beneath her all come out a bit differently.
